The First meeting for Steering Committee on Climate Change Program Loan

The First meeting for Steering Committee on Climate Change Program Loan will be held on November 14th (Friday) in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The meeting will be co-chaired by Mr. Ken OKANIWA, Minister of Embassy of Japan on the Japanese side and Ms. Umiyatun H. Triastuti, Deputy-Minister of National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) on the Indonesian side. The meeting will be attended by, among others, Mr. Hironori HAMANAKA (former vice-minister for Global Environmental Affairs at the Ministry of the Environment, and incumbent Chair of the Board of Directors, Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES) ) as a team-leader of Japan’s Monitoring and Advisory Team.
In the meeting, follow-up actions for Climate Change Program Loan as a first case of loan based on Japan’s proposed Cool Earth Partnership will be discussed.
