Mr. Nobutaka Machimura, Minister for Foreign Affairs, to Attend International Conferences Held on the Occasion of the 62nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly

- From September 22 (Sat) to 24 (Mon), Mr. Nobutaka Machimura,
Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, will visit New York, the United States.
- During his visit, Mr. Machimura will hold meetings with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon and H.E. Hamid Karzai, President of Afghanistan, and attend high-level conferences on Iraq and Afghanistan scheduled on the occasion of the 62nd Session of the UN General Assembly. Mr. Machimura also plans to hold bilateral talks with other Foreign Ministers during the visit.
