Japan-China Director-General Level Consultations on African Affairs

- The Japan-China Director-General Level Consultations on African Affairs
will be held on September 18 (Tue) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- The meeting will be attended on the Japanese side by Mr. Shigeo Matsutomi,
Deputy Director-General for Sub-Saharan African Affairs, Ministry of Foreign
Affairs and other relevant officials, and on the Chinese side by Mr. Cao
Zhongming, Deputy Director of the Department of African Affairs, Ministry
of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, and other relevant
officials.
- In this meeting, the participants will exchange their views on such matters as Japan’s and China’s policies on Africa, cooperation for Africa, TICAD and Forum on China-Africa Cooperation as well as regional issues.
