Visit to Japan by Mr. Carl Bildt, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Sweden

1. Mr. Carl Bildt, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Sweden, who will accompany H.M. King Carl XVI Gustaf and H.M. Queen Silvia during their visit to Japan from March 25 (Sun) to 31 (Sat), will be in Japan from March 27 (Tue) to 29 (Thu).

2. During his visit, Mr. Bildt will meet with Mr. Taro Aso, Minister for Foreign Affairs, and exchange views on bilateral relations and the international situation.

3. Mr. Bildt’s visit to Japan is expected to further strengthen friendly relations between Japan and Sweden.
