Visit to Japan by Mr. Dermot Ahern T.D., Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ireland

Mr. Dermot Ahern T.D., Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ireland, will visit Japan from November 28 (Wed) to December 1 (Sat) as Guest of the Minister for Foreign Affairs.
During his stay in Japan, Mr. Ahern will exchange views with Mr. Masahiko Koumura, Minister for Foreign Affairs, on Japan-Ireland bilateral relations and on the current international situation.
As this year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, it is expected that this timely visit to Japan by Mr. Ahern will strengthen the dialogue between the Governments of Japan and Ireland, and further enhance their friendly relations between the two countries.
