The Second Foreign Ministers' Meeting of the "Central Asia plus Japan" Dialogue

- On June 5 (Mon) in Tokyo, Mr. Taro Aso, Minister for Foreign Affairs, will host the second Foreign Ministers' meeting in the framework of the "Central Asia plus Japan" Dialogue.
- This meeting will be attended on the Central Asian side by Mr. Elyor Ganiyev, Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan, Mr. Alikbek Dzhekshenkulov, Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Mr. Talbak Nazarov, Foreign Minister of Tajikistan, and Mr. Kairat Abdrakhmanov, Special Envoy of the Government of Kazakhstan (Vice Foreign Minister), and also by Mr. Dadfar Spanta, Foreign Minister of Afghanistan, as "Guest." The participants will discuss the concrete direction of cooperation in various fields between Japan and Central Asia centering on the promotion of intra-regional cooperation (arrangements are in progress to include Turkmenistan).
- Besides attending this meeting, participants will hold bilateral and other meetings.
