Japan-Russia Consultations on Disarmament and Non-Proliferation

- Japan-Russia Consultations on Disarmament and Non-Proliferation will be held on February 22 (Wed) in Moscow, Russian Federation.
- The Consultations will be attended on the Japanese side by a delegation headed by Mr. Takeshi Nakane, Director-General of the Disarmament, Non-Proliferation and Science Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and on the Russian side by a delegation headed by Mr. Anatoly I. Antonov, Director-General of the Department of Security and Disarmament, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- At the Consultations, the participants will discuss wide-ranging disarmament and non-proliferation issues, including nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation, biological and chemical weapons, export control, conventional weapons and the G8.
