Visit to Japan by Mr. Wu Dawei, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of China

1. Mr. Wu Dawei, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of China, will visit Japan and will meet on August 24 Mr. Tsuneo Nishida, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, to exchange views on Japan-China relations in general, the international situation and other issues.
2. On the same day, Mr. Wu will also have an exchange of views with Mr. Kenichiro Sasae, Director-General of the Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on situations regarding North Korea including as the Six-Party Talks.
