Visit to Japan of His Excellency Mr. Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, President of the Federative Republic of Brazil and Mrs. Marisa Leticia da Silva

H.E. Mr. Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, President of the Federative Republic of Brazil, and Mrs. Marisa Leticia da Silva, wife of the President, accompanied by a suite, will pay an official working visit to Japan from May 26 to 28, 2005.
During their stay in Japan, the President and Mrs. Marisa will make a State Call on Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan.
Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress will host a Court Luncheon in honor of the President and Mrs. Marisa Leticia da Silva.
The President will hold a meeting with Mr.Junichiro Koizumi, Prime Minister of Japan, and will also attend a dinner hosted by the Prime Minister of Japan.
The Government of Japan sincerely welcomes the visit of the President and Mrs. Marisa Leticia da Silva, which will further strengthen the friendly relations between Japan and the Federative Republic of Brazil.
