Mr. Nobutaka Machimura, Minister for Foreign Affairs, to Attend the Asian-African Ministerial Meeting in Indonesia

  1. Mr. Nobutaka Machimura, Minister for Foreign Affairs, will visit Indonesia from April 19 (Tue) to 21 (Thu) to attend the Asian-African Ministerial Meeting, subject to Cabinet approval.
  2. At this Meeting, participants will exchange views on forming a new Asia-Africa strategic partnership for the forthcoming Asian-African Summit Meeting, which celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Bandung Conference in 1955.
  3. Details of Mr. Machimura's itinerary including bilateral meetings are still being arranged.
