Japan-North Korea Working-level Consultations

1. Japan-North Korea Working-level Consultations will be held from August 11 (Wed) to 12 (Thu) in Beijing, China.
   
   
2. The Consultations will be attended on the Japanese side by Mr. Akitaka Saiki, Deputy Director-General of the Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, and on the North Korean side by Mr. Song Il Ho, Vice Director, Asian Affairs Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of North Korea.
   
   
3. At the Consultations, there will be a follow-up of the Japan-North Korea Summit Meeting held on May 22 and working-level consultations on issues of concern for both sides.
