Visit to Japan of the Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, and Mrs. Zhu Rongji(Announcement by the Press Secretary/Director-General for Press and Public Relations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs)
The Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, and Mrs. Zhu Rongji, accompanied by a suite, will pay an Official Visit to Japan from October 12 to 17, 2000.During their stay in Japan, the Premier of the State Council and Mrs. Zhu Rongji will be received in audience by Their Majesties The Emperor and Empress of Japan.
Their Majesties The Emperor and Empress will host a Court Luncheon in honor of the Premier of the State Council and Mrs. Zhu Rongji.
The Premier of the State Council will also hold a meeting with Prime Minister of Japan Yoshiro Mori.
The Prime Minister of Japan and Mrs. Mori will host a Dinner in honor of the Premier of the State Council and Mrs. Zhu Rongji.
The Government of Japan sincerely welcomes the visit of the Premier of the State Council and Mrs. Zhu Rongji, which will further strengthen the friendly relations existing between Japan and the People's Republic of China.
