His Excellency Mr. Seyyed Mohammad Khatami, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, accompanied by a suite, will pay an Official Visit to Japan from October 31 to November 3, 2000.During his stay in Japan, the President will make a state call on His Majesty The Emperor of Japan.
His Majesty The Emperor will host a Court Luncheon in honor of the President.
The President will also hold a meeting with Prime Minister of Japan Yoshiro Mori.
The Prime Minister of Japan will host a Dinner in honor of the President.
The Government of Japan sincerely welcomes the visit of the President, which will further strengthen the friendly relations existing between Japan and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
