Twelfth Annual Meeting of the 21st Century Committee for Japan-China Friendship

1. The Twelfth Annual Meeting of the 21st Century Committee for Japan-China Friendship will be held from May 12 (Tue.) to 14 (Thu.) in Xian, China.

2. The meeting will be attended on the Japanese side by a committee headed by Mr. Tatsumi Okabe, Professor of Senshu University; and on the Chinese side by a committee headed by Mr. Fu Hao, former Chinese Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs (former Chinese Ambassador to Japan).

3. At the forthcoming meeting, there will be a frank exchange of views covering wide-ranging fields such as politics, economy and culture, on the theme of an ideal mode of Japan-China relations at the approach of the 21st century and ways of realizing that.
