Visit to Japan of His Excellency Mr. Jiang Zemin, President of the People's Republic of China, and Mrs. Wang (Announcement by the Press Secretary/Director-General for Press and Public Relations Ministry of Foreign Affairs)

      His Excellency Mr. Jiang Zemin, President of the People's Republic of China, and Mrs. Wang, accompanied by a suite, will pay a State visit to Japan from November 25 to 30, 1998.
      During their stay in Japan, the President and Mrs. Wang will make a State Call on Their Majesties The Emperor and Empress of Japan.
      Their Majesties The Emperor and Empress will host a State Dinner in honor of the President and Mrs. Wang.
      The President will hold official talks with the Prime Minister of Japan.
      The Prime Minister and Mrs. Keizo Obuchi will host a Dinner in honor of the President and Mrs. Wang.
      The Government of Japan sincerely welcomes the visit of the President and Mrs. Wang, which will further strengthen the friendly relations existing between Japan and the People's Republic of China.
