Visit to Japan by Mr. Aleksander Kwasniewski,President of the Republic of Poland

February 4, 1998

1. Mr. Aleksander Kwasniewski, President of the Republic of Poland, accompanied by a suite, will visit Japan from February 6 (Fri.) to 14 (Sat.), as a Guest of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for the Nagano Winter Olympics. Mr. Kwasniewski will stay in Tokyo from 11 (Wed.) to 14 (Sat.).

2. During his stay in Japan, the President will make a state call on His Majesty The Emperor of Japan.
   He will also have talks with people from economic and political circles, and will attend a lecture meeting.
