Visit to Japan by Dr. Klaus Kinkel,Federal Vice-Chancellor and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany

- Dr. Klaus Kinkel, Vice-Chancellor and Minister of Foreign
Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, will visit
Japan from October 23 (Thu.) to 24 (Fri.) as Guest of the
Foreign Minister.
- During his stay in Japan, Dr. Kinkel will hold
Japan-Germany Foreign Ministers' Regular Consultations
with Foreign Minister Keizo Obuchi.
- At the consultations, the Action Agenda for Japan-Germany Partnership will be revised, and views will be exchanged on the bilateral relationship, the situation in Asia and Europe, and other matters.
The Japan-Germany Action Agenda is to strengthen the two countries' cooperation not only in bilateral relations, but also in the international community on such wide-ranging areas as politics, economy, culture, and science and technology.
