Visit to Japan by Mr. Ioannis Kasoulides, Foreign Minister of Cyprus

June 4, 1997

1. Mr. Ioannis Kasoulides, Foreign Minister of Cyprus, accompanied by a suite, will visit Japan from June 11 (Wed.) to 14 (Sat.) as Guest of the Foreign Minister.

2. During his stay in Japan, Mr. Kasoulides will be received in audience by H.I.H. The Crown Prince. He will also have talks with Foreign Minister Yukihiko Ikeda, government leaders, and others.

3. The two foreign ministers will exchange views on closer bilateral relations and the international situation including that of Europe and Asia.
