Visit to Japan by His Excellency Mr. Ernesto Zedillo Ponce de León, President of the United Mexican States, and Mrs. Zedillo

His Excellency Mr. Ernesto Zedillo Ponce de Leon, President of the United Mexican States, and Mrs. Zedillo, accompanied by a suite, will pay a State Visit to Japan from March 10 to 13, 1997, and will leave Japan on 14.

During their stay in Japan, the President and Mrs. Zedillo, will make a State Call on Their Majesties The Emperor and Empress of Japan.

Their Majesties The Emperor and Empress will host a State Dinner in honor of the President and Mrs. Zedillo.

The President will have official talks with the Prime Minister of Japan.

The Prime Minister and Mrs. Hashimoto will host a Dinner in honor of the President and Mrs. Zedillo.

The Government of Japan sincerely welcomes the visit of the President and Mrs. Zedillo, which will further strengthen the friendly relations existing between Japan and the United Mexican States.
