  1. On Wednesday, June 1, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will open its own comprehensive official accounts on Facebook and Twitter.

  2. Considering the spread of social media in recent years, to date the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has obtained accounts on Facebook and Twitter related to specific matters and events through which it has worked to disseminate information.

  3. Going forward, our intention is to continue to effectively transmit information related to Japanese diplomacy in general through the use of these comprehensive official Ministry of Foreign Affairs' accounts. At present, we plan to transmit information focusing mainly on the contents of the latest information on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Website.
