Donation from the Republic of Moldova

In response to Great East Japan Earthquake, the Government of the Republic of Moldova provided relief money of 1 million Moldovan lei (approximately 7.2 million yen).　Apart from this, beneficiaries of a Japanese ODA program “Assistance for Underprivileged Farmers” made another donation, which was sent to Japan by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry of the Republic of Moldova.
From the Republic of Moldova, a letter of sympathy was sent from H.E. Mr. Vladimir Filat, President of the Republic of Moldova.
The Government of Japan deeply appreciates the sense of solidarity expressed and assistance extended by the Government and the people of the Republic of Moldova.
