Donation from the Republic of Slovenia

The Government of the Republic of Slovenia offered a donation of 150,000 euros (approximately 17.3 million yen) via the Slovenian Red Cross Society regarding the Tohoku - Pacific Ocean Earthquake.
From the Republic of Slovenia, H.E. Dr. Danilo Turk, President, H.E. Mr. Borut Pahor, Prime Minister, H.E. Mr. Samuel Zbogar, Minister of Foreign Affairs and many others also sent letters and messages of sympathy and condolences.
In addition, H.E. Dr. Pavel Gantar, President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia visited the Embassy of Japan in the Republic of Slovenia and signed the condolence book on Tuesday, March 22. The Government of Japan deeply appreciates the Government and the people of Republic of Slovenia for their expression of solidarity and generous assistance for Japan.
