Donation of Relief Money from the United Republic of Tanzania

- In response to the Tohoku - Pacific Ocean Earthquake, Hon. Job Yustino Ndugai, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of the United Republic of Tanzania informed that the assembly will provide relief money of 26 million Tanzanian shillings (approximately 1.4 million yen).
- From the United Republic of Tanzania, messages and letters of sympathy were sent from H.E. Mr. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, President, H.E. Dr. Ali Mohamed Shein, President of Zanzibar, H.E. Mr. Mizengo Peter Pinda, Prime Minister and others.
- The Government of Japan deeply appreciates the sense of solidarity expressed and assistance extended by the Government, National Assembly, and the people of the United Republic of Tanzania.
