  1. On Sunday, March 13, in response to the Tohoku district-off the Pacific Ocean Earthquake, the Government of Estonia announced that the Government will provide relief money of 200,000 euro (about 23 million yen) to Japan.

  2. From the Republic of Estonia, letters of sympathy was sent from H.E. Mr. Toomas Hendrik Ilves, President of the Republic of Estonia.

  3. The Prime Minister Mr. Andrus Ansip and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Urmas Paet (through March 16 to 17) wrote a message in a condolence book at the Embassy of Japan in the Republic of Estonia. The Government of Japan deeply appreciates a sense of solidarity expressed and assistance extended by the Government of the Republic of Estonia and the people of the Republic of Estonia.
