Acceptance of an additional support team from the Republic of Korea

The details of the acceptance of an additional support team from the Republic of Korea (ROK), which was offered in the Japan- ROK Summit telephone conversation on March 13, have been decided as follows.
The additional support team is scheduled to depart from Seoul Airport at 8:00, March 14, 2011 and arrive at Narita Airport at 10:40 on the same day on three C-130H transport aircrafts. (The areas of activity of the team are being finalized.)
The head of the additional Support Team is Mr. Lee Dongsung (Chief Commander). The team consists of 102 personnel including rescue workers and two officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
