A bombing attack killed and injured citizens in front of a coptic church in the northern city of Alexandria on January 1.
Today, Minister for Foreign Affairs Seiji Maehara sent message of condolences to his counterpart of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit. The minister expressed his sympathy toward the victims and the bereaved families, and toward the injured for their early recovery, as well as the message that Japan strongly condemns any act of terrorism.
