- Two bomb attacks occurred at midnight on July 11 (Sun.) in Kampala, the capital city of the Republic of Uganda, have caused heavy casualties among the viewers of the World Cup final live transmission at two different sites. Japan strongly condemns this terrorist act and expresses its deepest condolences for those who have been killed and the families of the victims. Japan also extends its heartfelt sympathy toward the injured.
- Japan condemns terrorism in all forms and for all purposes, and strongly reiterates that no act of terrorism can be justified.
