Venue for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Japan 2010 Economic Leaders’ Meeting and Ministerial Meeting

The Government of Japan has decided on Pacifico Yokohama (Yokohama City, Nishi Ward) as the venue for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders’ Meeting and Ministerial Meeting, which are scheduled to be held in November, 2010. It was also decided that an international media center will be housed within the same facility.

November 7 – 9 Concluding Senior Officials' Meeting (CSOM)
November 10 – 11 APEC Ministerial Meeting (AMM)
November 13 – 14 APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting (AELM)
(Note 2) The International Media Center (IMC) is a comprehensive press-related facility for holding various types of press conferences and to provide a working space for newspersons.
(Note 3) Pacifico Yokohama is a multi-purpose conference facility in Minato Mirai 21, Yokohama consisting of the Conference Center, InterContinental the Grand Yokohama Hotel, Exhibition Halls, National Convention Hall of Yokohama, and Annex Hall. The Fourth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD IV) was also held there in May 2008.
