Earthquake Disaster in Central Java, Republic of Indonesia (Dispatch of Japan Disaster Relief Medical Team (Additional Dispatch of Self Defense Forces Unit))

1. On June 2, the Government of Japan decided to dispatch another 100 staff members of Japan's Self Defense Forces unit as members of a Japan Disaster Relief Medical Team, in addition to about 50 members already being dispatched.
2. This new team will be engaged in medical and epidemic prevention activities in the area for the disaster-afflicted people.
3. This new team will leave for Java on June 4 and 5.
