GUESTS AND NATIONAL / SPECIAL DAYS
OF THE 2005 WORLD EXPOSITION, AICHI, JAPAN

- The following guests and national day events are expected during the period 30 July - 5 August in connection with the 2005 World Exposition, Aichi, Japan:
(1) Honorable James Bule, Minister of Trade, Commerce, Industry and Tourism of the Republic of Vanuatu, will visit Japan from 30 July to 3 August, to attend the National Day event on 1 August at the Expo site.
(2) H.E. Mr. Besir Atalay, Minister of State of the Republic of Turkey, will visit Japan from 31 July to 5 August, to attend the National Day event on 2 August at the Expo site.
(3) Son Excellence Madame Angèle GNONSOA, Minister of Environment of the Republic of Côte d'lvoire, will visit Japan from 2 to 6 August, to attend the National Day event on 3 August at the Expo site.
(4) H.E. Mr. Amangeldy Mursadykovich Muraliev, Acting Minister of Economy, Industry and Trade of the Kyrgyz Republic, will visit Japan from 2 to 6 August, to attend the National Day event on 4 August at the Expo site.
(5) H.E. Mr. Gonzalo Molina Sardan, Vice Minister of Industry, Commerce, and Export, Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Bolivia, will visit Japan from 4 to 10 August, to attend the National Day event on 5 August at the Expo site.
- The Government of Japan is pleased to welcome the dignitaries who will visit Japan as Guests of the 2005 World Exposition, Aichi, Japan, to attend their own national days to be held at the Expo site.
NOTE:
(1) "The 2005 World Exposition, Aichi, Japan" is being held for the period 25 March - 25 September under the theme "Nature's Wisdom".
(2) 121 countries and 4 international organizations participating in the World Exposition are scheduled to hold a NATIONAL DAY (for countries) or a SPECIAL DAY (for international organizations) event to celebrate their participation either at the EXPO Dome or the EXPO Hall at the EXPO site.
