Statement by the Press Secretary/Director-General for Press Relations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Iran's Ballistic Missile-Launching Test

  1. Iran admitted on July 7 that it had conducted a ballistic Missile-launching test. The Government of Japan considers this missile-launching test regrettable as it can seriously influence regional stability and the security of the international community.

  2. The Government of Japan intends to continue strongly urging Iran to exercise restraint over ballistic missile-launching tests.
