Statement by the Press Secretary / Director-General for Press and Public Relations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the ballistic missile testing by Pakistan

Japan reiterates its regret that Pakistan conducted a further ballistic missile test on October 14, following the recent tests on October 3 and 8, despite efforts by the international community towards the non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missiles.
Japan hopes that tensions between India and Pakistan will not be intensified by these missile tests and calls on Pakistan to sincerely respond to the efforts by the international community towards the non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missiles.
