Remarks (Video Message) by State Minister Tsuji at the Japan-Tanzania Business Forum

On July 4, Mr. TSUJI Kiyoto, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, delivered a video message for Japan and Tanzania Business Forum held in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The overview is as follows.

  1. At the outset, State Minister Tsuji expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to participate in the first Tanzania and Japan Business Forum.
  2. State Minister Tsuji, referring to the importance of expanding trade and investment between two countries, stated that, through his visit to Tanzania in Mat this year, he strongly felt that Tanzania is a country with great appeal and potential. State Minister Tsuji expressed his hope that companies of both countries will take full advantage of this valuable opportunity to interact with each other, and that this will lead to the expansion of their business between the two countries.
  3. State Minister Tsuji referred to the exhibition at Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai in Japan next year, and stated his expectation for Tanzania's companies to take advantage of the Expo in order to showcase Tanzania's attractive land, people, products, and potential market to Japanese people.
  4. Finally, State Minister Tsuji expressed his expectation that today’s forum will serve as a foundation for promoting trade between our two countries.
