On May 3, commencing at 19:00 local time for approximately 35 minutes, Mr. KISHIDA Fumio, Prime Minister of Japan, who was on a visit to Maputo, Mozambique, attended a Japan-Mozambique Business Exchange Meeting.

Speaking in front of representatives from Japanese companies participating in the Public and Private Sector Joint Mission for Promoting Trade and Investment in Africa, led by YAMADA Kenji, State Minister for Foreign Affairs, as well as Mozambican business people, Prime Minister Kishida stated that the Japanese Government will continue to strongly support the private sector to help realize tangible business results through this mission.
