From March 29 to April 3, Mr. KAWASE Taro, Director of the First African Division of the African Affaires Department, visited Democratic Repulic of the Congo, Republic of Congo and Gabonese Republic.

1. Democratic Republic of the Congo

During the visit to the Democratic Republic of the Congo from March 29 to March 31, Mr. KAWASE, Director of the First African Division paid a courtesy call on Vice Prime Minister, Minister for National Economy H.E. Mr. Daniel MUKOKO SAMBA and exchanged views with Mr. KETU CIRIMWAMI, Chief of Staff to the Minister for Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, Francophonie and Congolese Diaspora to have discussions on bilateral cooperation, including economic and resource aspects as well as international and regional affairs.

During the visit to the Republic of Congo from March 31 to April 1, Mr. KAWASE, Director of the First Africa Division paid a courtesy call on Minister of International Cooperation and Promotion of Public-Private Partnerships, H.E. Mr. Denis Christel SASSOU N’GUESSO and Minister for Hydrocarbons H.E. Mr. Bruno Jean Richard ITOUA, and exchanged views with Mr. Gregoire MOLOUMBA, Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Francophonie and Congolese Abroad to have discussions on bilateral cooperation, including economic and resource aspects as well as international cooperation.

3. Gabonese Republic

During the visit to Gabonese Republic from April 1st to April 3rd, Mr. KAWASE, Director of the First Africa Division paid a courtesy call on Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, H.E. Ms. Marie-Edith TASSYLA-YE-DOUMBENENY and Minister of Petroleum and Gas, H.E. Mr.Clotaire KONDJA, and exchanged views with Ms. Mboukou FOUTOU, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation to have discussions on bilateral cooperation, including economic and resource aspects as well as international cooperation.
