Visit to Japan by Hon. Matthew Cooper Wale, Prime Minister of Solomon Islands

Hon. Matthew Cooper Wale, Prime Minister of Solomon Islands is scheduled to visit Japan from July 23 to 25.

Japan and Solomon Islands are precious friends connected by the Pacific Ocean and partners who share values such as freedom, democracy, the rule of law and human rights. Ms. TAKAICHI Sanae, Prime Minister of Japan, will hold a Japan-Solomon Islands Summit Meeting with Prime Minister Wale, who took office in May this year, and exchange views on bilateral relations and regional affairs.
It is expected that the visit of Prime Minister Wale to Japan will further strengthen the bilateral relations between Japan and Solomon Islands.
