Prime Minister of the Republic of Fiji to Visit Japan

Hon. Mr. Sitiveni Ligamamada Rabuka, Prime Minister of the Republic of Fiji, will pay an official working visit to Japan from November 12 to 15, 2025. During his stay in Japan, Ms. TAKAICHI Sanae, Prime Minister of Japan, will hold a summit meeting with Prime Minister Rabuka in his honor.
- Japan and Fiji are precious friends connected by the Pacific Ocean and partners who share values such as freedom, democracy, the rule of law and human rights.
- It is expected that this visit by Prime Minister Rabuka will further strengthen bilateral relations between Japan and Fiji, who is a core country among the Pacific Island countries, and confirm our cooperation toward the realization of a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific”.
