On May 13, commencing after 5:00 p.m. for approximately 20 minutes, Mr. KIHARA Minoru, Chief Cabinet Secretary of Japan, held a meeting with H.E. Mr. Togmid DORJKHAND, Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia, who is visiting Japan.

  1. At the outset, Chief Cabinet Secretary KIHARA welcomed Deputy Prime Minister Dorjkhand’s visit to Japan. Both sides confirmed that they would further develop bilateral relations, including in the area of economy, as “the Special Strategic Partners for Peace and Prosperity.”
  2. Both sides also exchanged views on cooperation in the regional and international fora. Chief Cabinet Secretary KIHARA once again expressed his appreciation for Mongolia's understanding and cooperation on the abductions issue.
