Meeting between Mrs. Akie Abe, spouse of the Prime Minister of Japan and Mrs. Khonichin Selenge, spouse of the Prime Minister of Mongolia

On January 22, Mrs. Akie Abe, spouse of the Prime Minister of Japan, held a meeting with Mrs. Khonichin Selenge, spouse of Prime Minister of Mongolia Mr. Norov Altankhuyag, during her private visit to Japan.
The meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere throughout. Mrs. Abe extended a sincere welcome to Mrs. Selenge, who was visiting Japan again not long after making an official visit to Japan with Prime Minister Altankhuyag in September last year. Mrs. Selenge expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality she enjoyed on her previous visit to Japan, and conveyed her happiness at being able to meet again.
In addition, Mrs. Abe and Mrs. Selenge exchanged views on education, culture and people-to-people exchanges. Mrs. Abe said she hopes Mrs. Selenge will visit cities other than Tokyo during next visit to Japan, and will come to know Japan's various attractions.
