1. Visit by Prime Minister Mikhail Mikhaylovich Kasyanov of the Russian Federation

   Press Secretary Hatsuhisa Takashima: Good afternoon. Today I have an announcement I would like to make.

   Prime Minister Mikhail Mikhaylovich Kasyanov of the Russian Federation arrived in Tokyo yesterday for a three-day visit. Prime Minister Kasyanov met with Minister for Foreign Affairs Yoriko Kawaguchi last night and will meet Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi this afternoon. A joint statement will be issued after the Prime Ministers meet.
