  1. From Saturday, July 7 to Tuesday, July 10, H.E. Mr. Hamid Karzai, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, will pay a working visit to Japan upon invitation by the Japanese Government.

  2. During his stay in Japan, President Karzai is scheduled to attend the Tokyo Conference on Afghanistan which is to be co-hosted by Japan and Afghanistan, and to hold a meeting with H.E. Mr. Yoshihiko Noda, Prime Minister of Japan.
