  1. On Monday, March 5, and Tuesday, 6, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will host a Japan-EU Policy Makers Seminar in Tokyo on the European financial crisis and the future of EU integration. The seminar will be held in cooperation with the EU delegation to Japan.

  2. Following an opening address by Dr. Kazuyuki Hamada, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs, officials and scholars from Japan and Europe will participate and discuss the economic impact of the European financial crisis and its impact on the future of the European integration towards enlargement and deepening from a variety of angles.
