Attendance of the Annual Meeting of the 12th EU-Japan Business Round Table by Mr. Katsuya Okada, Minister for Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Koichi Takemasa, State Secretary for Foreign Affairs

  1. Mr. Katsuya Okada, Minister for Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Koichi Takemasa, State Secretary for Foreign Affairs, will attend the Annual Meeting of the 12th EU-Japan Business Round Table to be held in Tokyo on April 19 (Mon) and 20 (Tue).

  2. Approximately fifty top members of the Japan and EU business communities will gather at this Meeting to discuss the way toward further strengthening economic relations between Japan and the EU from business perspectives. Recommendations to the governments of Japan and the EU are going to be adopted.

  3. Minister Okada will make a speech on April 19, and State Secretary Takemasa will also make a speech and will participate in the discussions at the joint government-private session on April 20.
