Japanese
- The Government of Japan, in collaboration with the local governments concerned, will express a hearty welcome and offer cordial hospitality toward the heads of state and government visiting Japan to attend the APEC Leaders’ Meeting to be held in Yokohama on November 13 (Sat) and 14 (Sun). This is an excellent opportunity for the visiting participants to deepen the understanding of Japan through the international conference and the accompanying extension of hospitality.
- During the APEC Leaders’ Week, we will display “Japan’s strengths,” including cutting-edge technologies, monozukuri (manufacturing), cultural traditions, and contemporary art in many possible ways with the support of world-renowned prominent figures as listed below.
- We hope that the general public will understand the objectives of these APEC engagements by the Government to join the central and local governments in welcoming the visiting APEC Leaders and make the occasion a good opportunity to deepen their interest in and understanding of APEC.
