H.E. Mr. Shintaro Ito, State Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Japan, will visit the United States (New York and Washington, D.C.) from April 9 (Thurs) to 16 (Thurs).
In New York, in light of the launch by North Korea on April 5 (Sun), Mr. Ito will work with countries concerned in order to ensure that the United Nations Security Council will take a firm response to it.
In Washington, D.C., Mr. Ito will attend Haiti Donors conference on Haiti, where he will present Japan’s assistance to Haiti, and exchange views with the parties concerned.
