Visit to Japan by H.E. Dr. Tabaré Ramón Vázquez Rosas, President of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay

  1. H.E. Dr. Tabaré Ramón Vázquez Rosas, President of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, will pay a working visit to Japan from December 11 (Fri) to 15 (Tue), accompanied by his wife.
     
  2. While in Japan, President Vázquez and his wife are scheduled to have an audience with Their Majesties, the Emperor and Empress of Japan. President Vázquez will also meet with Mr. Yukio Hatoyama, Prime Minister of Japan.
     
  3. President Vázquez's visit is expected to further strengthen friendly and cooperative relations between Japan and Uruguay.
