Mr. Akitaka Saiki, Director-General of the Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to Visit the United States

Mr. Akitaka Saiki, Director-General of the Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will visit the United States from May 18 (Sun) to 20 (Tue). A Japan-U.S.-ROK three-party meeting on the Six-Party Talks is in the process of being scheduled for May 19 (Mon).
In response to the fact that North Korea submitted to the United States materials providing the operating records of the 5 Megawatt Experimental Reactor and the Reprocessing Plant located in Yongbyon, the participants will exchange views on the Six-Party Talks and other matters.
