Visit to Japan of His Excellency Mr. Hu Jintao, President of the People’s Republic of China, and Mrs. Liu Yongqing

His Excellency Mr. Hu Jintao, President of the People’s Republic of China, and Mrs. Liu Yongqing, will pay a State Visit to Japan from May 6 to 10, 2008.
During their stay in Japan, the President and Mrs. Liu Yongqing will make a State Call on Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan.
Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress will host a State Dinner in honour of the President and Mrs. Liu Yongqing.
Mr. Yasuo Fukuda, Prime Minister of Japan, will hold a meeting with the President.
The Government of Japan sincerely welcomes the visit of the President and Mrs. Liu yongqing, which will further strengthen the friendly relations between Japan and the People’s Republic of China.
