Dr. Tatsuo Arima, Special Envoy of the Government of Japan for the Middle East, to Attend the Arab League Summit

1. Dr. Tatsuo Arima, Special Envoy of the Government of Japan for the Middle East, will visit Saudi Arabia from March 26 (Mon) to 29 (Thu) to attend the 19th Arab League Summit in Riyadh.

2. On March 28 (Wed), Dr. Arima will attend the opening session of the Arab League Summit as an observer on behalf of the Government of Japan. He will also exchange views on the current Middle East situation with government officials of the Middle Eastern countries who will attend the Summit.
