- The Preparatory Meeting for Negotiations on the Japan-Switzerland Economic Partnership Agreement will be held on March 13 (Tue) in Tokyo, Japan.
- In this Meeting, Mr. Jun Yokota, Ambassador for International Trade and Economic Affairs (Chief Negotiator of the Japanese side), and officials from other relevant ministries of Japan and Mr. Luzius Wasescha, Ambassador for Trade Agreements from State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (Chief Negotiator of the Swiss side) and other officials of Switzerland will respectively participate.
- Discussions on the framework and schedule of the negotiations will be held in this Preparatory Meeting with the view toward the smooth start of the negotiations.
